Is there a similar combo system to the one in WoW (World Of Warcraft)?

Basically, each special attack (or normal in this case) makes the character gain a combo point, which can be used to perform special attacks which require combo points.

Thing is, I'm making a game with a 4 party system in a land oblivious to magic. There are two damage dealers, having a bit of variety between them seemed like a good idea.

Thanks in advance :D

Can't you use the TP system for that?

- Starting TP = 0

- Normal attack gives actor +1 TP

- Special action requires X amount of TP to use

Or are you using that for somthing else?

That's seems viable, but can TP be made unavailable to specific characters?

Such as..

Member 1: MP only

Member 2: MP only

Member 3: TP only

Member 4: MP only

?

Hmm, there are scripts that let you configure the TP system. Haven't tried them myself.

But this one might have the function you're looking for: http://yanflychannel...pts/tp-manager/

Using the Yanfly Battle Engine (from the same site linked above), if you don't assign any skills that use TP or MP to a specific character, it will hide that bar in battle. It will still be visible in the menu however.

Not sure of an script to remove it there too (guess I was never too concerned about removing it there...).

Yeah, the TP bar won't show up in the menu by default, and the MP bar will be there for all actors.

You need to edit the menu windows to make the bars ahow up correctly.

You could look at Yanfly Battle Engine script for the lines in battle status window and use similiar logic for the menu.
