Hi, this is my second project I've worked on with ace. Hopefully things will go better than with the first one ^_^

This looks great eshra! Your parallaxed maps are really well done and from the video your eventing skills are really good as well. The story is quite gripping as well and the mood is mysterious and dangerous enough to make the viewer want more!

That said, when is the demo coming out? :P

Update:
I finished several maps over the past few days, around 9. I'm Trying to pump out all the maps for part 1 to just get them out of the way so I can start focusing on the gameplay. Also updated the credits list, I am no longer using Khas' lighting script, instead I'm just going to overlay lighting effects onto the map.

Edit July 20: I will probably post some more updates tomorrow, have been working pretty hard the last 4 days on some code...

July 21: I'm not going to post anything just yet. I need more time to clean out all the bugs from the code I'm writing.

Update: I just finished the projectile script that I'm going to be using in my game and I need some help beta testing it to find all of the bugs I missed. The link to it is in my signature.

July 23: Almost finished all of the "main story" maps for part one. So far there is one event (A diplomacy related event) in the game that will cause a major change in the story. I have one more planned as well.

Just finished all of the maps that are going to be used in the main story. This project has 37 maps right now and I still need to do a few more for the side story areas. I've had to cut back on parallaxing to reduce the projects file size.

This took quite awhile and I think I'm going to do all of the eventing next, then puzzles then other gameplay and leveling aspects.

Nice nice, I'm liking what I see! Try not to cut back too much on parallaxing, I know it can take up space but you know yours look real good ^^

Update July 31:
No updates because I've been practicing sketching after taking a 4 year break. I want to get a lot better then I'll start drawing what the characters for this project look like. This is the deviant page for anyone interested.

Update August 4:
Started working on concept art for Jero and Meethalos, If I feel like the sketches are good enough I'll post them here.

Update August 6: Uploaded some concept art for Jero on the da page. It's not that great though so I'm not gonna post it here.

Update August 15: Apparantly using a plugged in laptop with a battery that needs to be replaced can strain the mother board? Well I couldn't boot my computer anymore and that was the best reason I got for why so I had to get a new one. But I'm back now and working on the project again.

August 20: Finished the hotkey script (in signature) for the game and also uploaded a sketch of Meethalos to the da page.

I finished writing most of the scripts I'll need to implement the noncombat skills in the game:
I think I'm also going to include some kind of on map combat though, I like turn based systems too much to make this the main form that battle takes though so I'll just do both... :mellow:
